This Privacy Policy explains how Bugxy collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Bugxy website, Chrome extension, dashboard, recording tools, and sharing features.

• Google account information such as your name, email address, profile image, and Google account identifier.
• Recording data, including the selected tab, screen, or window video, page title, page URL, and recording time.
• Technical context such as browser, operating system, viewport, screen size, console logs, click interactions, network URLs, methods, status codes, timing, and redacted request or response headers and payload fields captured during an explicit recording.
• Google Drive connection information, including encrypted OAuth refresh tokens and the Drive folder or file references needed to upload and display your recordings.
• Authentication information stored locally by the extension, including Bugxy access and refresh tokens.
• Notes, share links, settings, and support messages you choose to provide.

We use information to authenticate you, record and organize bug reports, upload recordings to your connected Google Drive, provide playback and sharing, maintain security, troubleshoot failures, improve reliability, and communicate about the service. We do not use this information for advertising, profiling, or unrelated purposes.

Bugxy uses the limited drive.file permission. Bugxy is designed to access the recording files it creates or uses for your reports and is not intended to browse unrelated files in your Drive. Google handles Google account and Drive data under its own policies and terms. The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Completed video recordings upload to your connected Google Drive. Bugxy stores report metadata and technical context needed for the dashboard and sharing features; Bugxy is not intended to operate as a permanent video storage library. To support report sharing, Bugxy may set a recording file so that anyone with its Google Drive link can view it. Do not record confidential information unless you are authorized to share it. Google Drive files remain subject to your Drive account, permissions, storage, and deletion choices.

When you create a share link, Bugxy makes the selected report information and associated recording available to people who can access that link. We may use service providers for hosting, authentication, storage of metadata, security, and support. We do not sell your personal information or use it for personalized advertising.

We retain account information, report metadata, and related records while needed to provide Bugxy, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce agreements. When you delete a recording in Bugxy, we request deletion of the linked video from Google Drive and remove its Bugxy metadata. If Google Drive deletion fails, Bugxy keeps the metadata and reports the error.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information, including HTTPS for transmission, redaction of common authentication headers in captured telemetry, and encrypted storage for OAuth credentials. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so do not capture sensitive information unless you are authorized and accept the associated risk.

• Disconnect Google Drive through your Google account or Bugxy settings where available.
• Delete Drive files directly from Google Drive.
• Delete Bugxy recording metadata through the dashboard where available.
• Contact us to ask questions about your account or information.

Bugxy is not directed to children who are not legally permitted to use the service. You are responsible for complying with local requirements regarding recordings, personal information, and consent.

We may update this Policy when our practices or legal obligations change. We will post the updated version and effective date.
